Sailing Classes

At Trimpley we currently have both menagerie and within-class racing.

Menagerie racing allows all classes of boat to compete against one another.  We adjust the elapsed race times for both personal handicaps and for the boat class, this means that no matter what type of boat you sail, or what your level of experience, everyone is in with a chance of winning a race.

We also have racing within-class.  The classes racing at Trimpley are ILCA, GP14, Solo & Topper. As well as the main results within class we also have handicap results. The handicap results also allow for less experienced sailors to have a chance at winning a handicap race within a class.
